Do you bury or cremate your pets that pass away? If you bury them, where are they located (-your home, pet cemetery, etc.) If you cremate them, are they in an urn or are their ashes scattered?
I cremate my larger animals (dogs, cats) and they each have their own personalized urn. I bury the small animals in the yard or garden of my parents’ house.
I prefer to cremate my larger animals just as you do, but I bury their ashes in my yard with a small marker with their name to indicate where they are. It is too difficult and unwiedly to bury very large animals (we have very hard soils) and I always fear that another animal or a future homeowner may dig them up.
