I lost one of my dogs recently, and I keep the cremains in a cedar box. When my spouse and I die, we’ll probably have all our pets interred with us.
Where is a good place to find pet urns? I lost my beloved Rottie Friday and had him cremated. Finding the right urn is stressing me out. Thank you!
We just lost our beloved shih-tzu on Friday, also. Our deepest condolences to you.

So, I had wanted to cremate him myself but he is probably mostly gone by now under his grave. So, I wanted to take his bones and place them in an urn? Is it alright to break the bones apart so they will fit inside?
I’ll be crying when I do it though. The only reason I want to do this is because I want him beside me at all times. I love him.
I’ve always wanted to do the same.
Ive always had family pets, and had my own rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters ect, but for my 18th my parents brought me my own cat, Charlie. He ment the world to me and we were so close it was unbearable when he just suddenly died 7 months later
I would want nothing more then to put him in a special urn in my room, where he always used to be, i felt awful burying him in the garden which he never used to go in.
but purely because it would be too heartbreaking to dig him up and see what he would look like right now, a year and a half later, i just wouldnt do it.
Better just to keep them where they are and not put ourselves through even more pain, cause i think we both know, it would be horrible to see them after so long.
I have to say though, i am dreading the day when my parents move out of the house.. and complete strangers are going to be pulling up the graves of my many cats, rabbits and rats
